A peek in to my Five-Minute Journal

12:01am. March 30th 2014. Stalling so that I don’t have to get to my 10 minute meditation before bed time.

How I’m feeling: A little down and overwhelmed at the fact that life has gotten way more complicated with this cancer thing – yet at the same time, too simple for my comfort.

Here’s a peek in to today’s entry in my Five Minute Journal. I’m about to complete the second half as I end my day. Thanks again Lannie and Khalid  for bringing this to me while I was in the hospital – and to Alex Ikonn for creating this. It hasn’t been easy to fill in each day, but it has helped me out tremendously.

Today is the one year anniversary of my grandma's passing. I'm quietly enjoying snacks and making a dish that I associate with one of my personal favourite childhood memories with her. An emotional day celebrating how lucky I feel to have had her play the role she did in my life! Love you ba ngoai ❤😘😊🙌🙏.#SoGrateful #BanhBo It's everywhere.
